Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking students pursuing civil engineering, construction management, or related fields for a six-month internship in our Bloomington, Minnesota office. You will participate in in-depth technical training and perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt on various commercial and transportation projects.

Responsibilities include field sampling/testing (e.g., anchor testing, concrete coring, Pavement FWD, GPR) and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College student pursuing civil engineering or construction management preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with practical problem-solving skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex sampling and testing of soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt.
• Troubleshoot and adjust testing to site conditions and project needs.
• Provide clear documentation of field activities daily in electronic format.
• Work independently or as part of a small project team.
