Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking students pursuing degrees in engineering, construction management, or related fields to join our Hibbing, MN office for a 6-month Co-op opportunity.

Chosen Co-ops receive in-depth technical training and industry certifications upon successful completion of examinations. You will perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt, onsite on various projects, and collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure specs are followed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Full-time commitment for 6 months from mid-May to December.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
• A "working safe" attitude and mindset.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt.
• Conduct onsite materials testing on commercial and transportation construction projects and work with project managers and other technicians to ensure specifications are followed.
