Job summary

HOMEWORKS ENERGY in Boston is hiring Brand Ambassadors for outdoor, in-person outreach at hardware stores, grocery outlets, farmers markets and events. The role emphasizes customer engagement and direct community interaction with a focus on acquiring new customers.

The position offers $23 per hour plus commissions, with overtime eligibility and flexible part-time hours (full-time options available). Paid training and growth opportunities are provided within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to travel to territory locations up to 1 hour away.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with your community at hardware and grocery stores, farmers markets and home shows.
• Primary goal is customer acquisition; talking to strangers is expected.
• Table for HomeWorks Energy and the Mass Save program at retail locations and events.
• Schedule customers for a Home Energy Assessment or other in-home visits as needed.
• Set up and break down events, including a 25-pound tent; manual dexterity required.
• Attend bi-weekly team meetings, some in Charleston, MA.
• Drive to events and tabling locations up to 1 hour away.
• Perform other duties as required.
