Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Field Manager for Landscape Maintenance to lead field crews in contract maintenance and snow removal projects. You will manage labor and materials, monitor budgets, and develop your team for long-term success.

Responsibilities include planning daily production, tracking hours and costs, maintaining client relationships, and promoting job extras while ensuring safety and quality across assigned sites.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience doing contract maintenance work in a commercial setting.
• Two or four year horticultural or related degree and two years of industry experience; additional industry experience or certifications can substitute for a non-related degree.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record over the last three years.
• Ability to identify and diagnose insect and disease problems and schedule appropriate treatment.
• Working knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in contract maintenance and snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts.
• Develop understanding of the hourly and cost budgets for each job; monitor hours, reports and costs and communicate budget hours.
• Develop a good relationship with the client on every job.
• Monitor quality of work and inspect daily; complete property service reports and communicate issues to the customer.
• Sell an acceptable level of extras through T&M tickets.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good working order.
