Job summary

The Shield Co Management, LLC is hiring a Field Manager in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role leads Service Technicians to deliver pest control services, focusing on service quality, efficiency, and customer experience while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will build and train a high-performing field team, manage performance, and drive efficient routes. Competitive pay and full benefits are offered, with base pay around $50,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of pest control experience and.previous management experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possesses a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history; driving a company vehicle is essential.
• Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and train a team of Service Technicians in technical service delivery and customer experience, including identifying sales opportunities and supporting lead generation for the sales team.
• Manage and evaluate the performance of Service Technicians, facilitating regular meetings, training sessions, and coaching to reinforce service quality, processes, and protocols.
• Issue pest control products and chemicals to technicians, conduct daily field audits through ride-alongs, and provide feedback to the Service Manager on findings.
• Monitor technician schedules and service routes, including high-priority and emergency services, run performance reports, and conduct regular truck inspections to ensure equipment, inventory, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this role is $50,000. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
