Job summary

Bexar County PA is seeking a Field Maintenance Worker to perform road maintenance, assist in road construction, and manage park upkeep across county facilities. You will direct traffic at construction sites, operate gardening tools, clean rest areas, and assist with repairs in a team environment.

Under supervision, you may supervise community restitution workers and be on-call, including weekends and holidays. A valid Texas driver license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or GED; one year experience in lawns, grounds and maintenance.
• Knowledge of gardening, trimming and cutting equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual labor at construction sites.
• Assists maintenance crew in the construction of roads.
• Performs repair patching of roadways and concrete.
