Job summary

Avari Management is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support field operations across Newport properties. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and ensure homes meet safety and quality standards to guest readiness and owner satisfaction.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to manage priorities while coordinating with Property Managers, housekeeping, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across assigned properties and repairs (appliances, plumbing, electrical basics).
• Inspect properties for readiness and document findings.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and management to ensure guest and owner readiness.
• Respond to maintenance requests and tickets with urgency and quality.
• Document all work in company systems with notes and photos.
• Provide cross-coverage for team during high-volume periods.
