Job summary

Tsunami Express Car Wash is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our car wash equipment running safely and efficiently across the Midwest region. This hands-on role emphasizes electrical, mechanical, and welding skills with strong root-cause analysis and proactive maintenance.

You will travel extensively (50–75%) across Tsunami locations, installing, servicing, and repairing tunnels, conveyors, chemical delivery systems, and related infrastructure while supporting new site openings and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial, mechanical, facilities, or equipment maintenance.
• Car wash industry experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in at least three technical disciplines including electrical, mechanical, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, or plumbing.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Own equipment reliability across assigned locations.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair car wash equipment including tunnels, conveyors, chemical systems, and supporting infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to reduce operational disruptions.
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment history thoroughly.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend long‑term solutions to improve reliability.
• Train Site Managers on basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices.
