Job summary

Tsunami Express Car Wash is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our car wash equipment operating safely and reliably across a regional set of locations. This field role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting of complex systems and ownership of equipment performance.

You will install, maintain, and repair tunnels, conveyors, chemical delivery, and supporting systems, while documenting work orders and ensuring site readiness for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial, mechanical, facilities, or equipment maintenance.
• Car wash industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in at least three technical disciplines: electrical, mechanical, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, or plumbing.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with focus on root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across a geographic territory.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Flexibility to support rotating weekend coverage and urgent repair needs.

Responsibilities

• Own equipment reliability across assigned locations and maximize uptime.
• Diagnose root causes and implement lasting repairs.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair car wash equipment including tunnels, conveyors, chemical delivery systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to reduce disruptions.
• Document repairs and equipment history thoroughly.
• Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and readiness for new locations.
• Train Site Managers on basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA standards across locations.
