Job summary

Tsunami Express Car Wash is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support 75+ locations in the Midwest and beyond. This hands-on role focuses on keeping car wash equipment running safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime, and delivering reliable service across multiple sites.

You will install, maintain, and repair tunnels, conveyors, chemical delivery systems, and related infrastructure while documenting work and collaborating with Operations teams. Travel across a regional territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial, mechanical, facilities, or equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in at least three technical disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, or plumbing.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with a focus on root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across a geographic territory.

Responsibilities

• Own equipment reliability across assigned locations to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose root causes and implement lasting repairs rather than temporary fixes.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair car wash equipment including tunnels, conveyors, chemical delivery systems, and supporting infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to reduce operational disruptions.
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment history thoroughly.
