Job summary

MOJO Maintenance Technician role is a field-focused, hands-on position at live car wash sites, with a primary emphasis on repairs and preventive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

You will diagnose issues on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls, troubleshoot under pressure, and take ownership to get sites back up quickly. A company truck and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude: you can take things apart and put them back together.
• Basic electrical knowledge (low/high voltage, motor controls is a plus).
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Maintenance & Repairs (Primary Focus)
• Diagnose and repair equipment issues in real time
• Work on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and controls
• Troubleshoot problems quickly and get sites back up and running
• Handle everything from small fixes to larger system repairs
• Preventative Maintenance
• Perform routine service to keep equipment running smoothly
• Catch issues before they turn into downtime
• Follow simple, effective maintenance routines (not overcomplicated checklists)
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
• Identify root causes—not just quick fixes
• Think on your feet when equipment goes down
• Make decisions in the field to keep operations moving
• Work closely with site teams to keep everything operational
• Communicate clearly about issues and next steps
• Step in where needed—this is a team-first environment
• You’re moving most of the day—this is not a sit-down role
• You’ll work indoors and outdoors, around active equipment
• Some days are smooth. Some days everything breaks at once
• You’ll leave the day knowing exactly what you fixed
• All candidates considered for this position must submit a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a company insurance review authorizing them to operate fleet vehicles. Insurance approval is required prior to the start date.
