Job summary

MOJO in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep car wash equipment running. This hands-on, field-focused role emphasizes diagnosing and repairing issues in real time, with preventative maintenance and on-site problem solving.

You’ll work on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls, taking ownership of fixes and coordinating with site teams in a fast-paced environment. Physical work and travel around sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to disassemble and reassemble components.
• Basic electrical knowledge (low/high voltage, motor controls a plus).
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial equipment preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus, not required.
• Able to troubleshoot under pressure and take ownership of fixes.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Maintenance & Repairs (Primary Focus)
• Diagnose and repair equipment issues in real time
• Work on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and controls
• Troubleshoot problems quickly and get sites back up and running
• Handle small fixes to larger system repairs
• Preventative Maintenance

• Identify root causes and think on your feet when equipment goes down
