Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a field-based maintenance technician to inspect, repair, and assemble cylinder components and related equipment. You will read drawings, measure with micrometers and calipers, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure near-spec tolerances.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong problem-solving skills. Flexibility for overtime, weekend work, and field conditions is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Interpersonal communication skills are required to interface with teams and vendors.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disassemble, repair, and assemble cylinders and components.
• Procure parts and manage warehouse activities.
• Read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Set up machines and achieve close tolerances and alignment of parts.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment as needed.
• Ensure field equipment complies with emissions guidelines.
• Use hand tools to clean, lubricate, and replace filters and gaskets.
• Assist in start-up and removal of units.
• Other duties as assigned.
