Job summary

Casey’s is hiring a Field Maintenance Technician to service HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems across 12–15 stores in Bloomington, IN and nearby areas. Relocation assistance may be provided.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and install equipment, with a Monday–Friday schedule and paid travel time. Compensation starts at $25.50–$33.50 per hour, with potential annual bonus; benefits include health/dental/vision, 2 weeks vacation, 401(k) match, and company-provided tools and vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades.
• Experience with electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration equipment and parts.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 or Universal Certification required or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire date.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and guest service skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and verbal/written instructions.
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays (20–40%).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems and determine repairs or replacements.
• Repair and maintain electrical wiring, plumbing, refrigeration, and fuel devices.
• Test equipment performance and repair faulty parts.
• Install electrical equipment and repair wiring, fixtures, and bulbs.
• Complete service documentation after each call.
