Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, on-site training, and detailed reporting; travel exceeds 15 days per month, with some weekends. You will mentor technicians and collaborate with Sales Engineers to address service needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience as traveling technician.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tool experience.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Proficiency with Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Field Maintenance Specialist –Roanoke, VA (Traveling Role)

AGC Heat Transfer, the leading manufacturer of sanitary plate heat exchangers in North America, is seeking a Field Maintenance Specialist to support customers across the U.S. We are looking for a skilled, customer‑driven Field Maintenance Specialist based in Roanoke, VA. If you thrive on solving problems, traveling, and being the expert customers rely on, this role puts you at the center of the action. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy hands‑on work, travel, and direct customer interaction.

FLSA Status - Non Exempt - Hourly

Reports to: Service Maintenance Manager

• Perform Plate Check™ and tubular heat exchanger inspections
• Execute repairs, troubleshooting, and installation supervision
