Job summary

Atlas Pacific Engineering is seeking a Maintenance Service Mechanic to perform sales and service for food processing equipment in the Vancouver, WA region. The role requires self-management of schedules, hands-on repairs, preventive maintenance, and occasional sales support at customer sites.

The position involves traveling about half the time and working in industrial environments. Requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, English literacy, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving on complex equipment.
• Advanced mechanical skills (bearings, belts, motors, etc.).
• Intermediate electrical skills (sensors, PLCs).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; JDEdwards E1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures to safeguard others.
• Maintain and organize own work area for efficiency.
• Train coworkers to improve skills.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Provide service, repairs, and maintenance to food processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Generate revenue through parts, service, and sales opportunities.
• Travel approximately 50% regionally.
