Job summary

AT&T in Palm Coast, FL is seeking a Machine Operator to install and maintain our network infrastructure and to operate company vehicles with trailers for field work.

You will locate buried facilities, perform light excavations, and repair buried utilities or sprinkler lines. The role requires 8‑hour shifts, overtime, and outdoor work in all weather, with the ability to lift 120 pounds. Training and a DOT medical card are provided/required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work 8‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday.
• Overtime and holidays as service conditions require.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 120 pounds.
• Experience with operating various machines and tools.
• DOT medical card required.

Responsibilities

• Locate buried facilities near the route of service wire using appropriate equipment.
• Operate a company vehicle with trailer and machinery.
• Perform manual excavation using a shovel.
• Provide repairs to low‑voltage buried utilities or sprinkler systems.
• Conduct periodic maintenance and non‑complex repairs on equipment.
• Read and interpret simple instructions.
