Job summary

Opifex-Synergy is seeking a Lube Technician to perform oil changes and preventive maintenance on construction equipment at branch yards and job sites. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues and document services while upholding safety standards.

Requirements include owning your tools, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently in shop and field environments; some travel to job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a construction equipment lube technician or similar role is preferred.
• Must have own tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency in basic computer tasks, including work order management, parts lookup, and email communication.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in both shop and field environments.
• Strong communication skills and dedication to customer service.
• Adaptability for schedule adjustments and flexible hours based on operational needs.
• Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and preventive maintenance on equipment at the branch yard and various job sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine the most effective solutions.
• Provide high quality service and support during routine maintenance operations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with company standards and safety protocols to maintain accurate records of services performed.
• Utilizing company-provided systems and tools to efficiently document and manage work orders and sourcing parts/supplies for repairs/maintenance.
