Job summary

Knife River is hiring a Lube Technician to perform preventative maintenance on company equipment in the field and shops. You will carry out minor repairs, maintain a professional demeanor with customers and team members, and follow safety protocols.

Hours typically run Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM with Saturdays as needed, with shifts subject to weather and demand. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, and a Class B license with a medical card; offers full-time, year-round employment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred.
• Class B license and a valid medical card required.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on company equipment in field and shops.
• Display professional, courteous attitude with customers and teammates.
• Maintain service truck and tools; ensure safety and work area cleanliness.
• Dispatched to jobs and communicate status with supervisor.
• Complete required paperwork for each shift and hand in on time.
• Operate equipment at night under lighting conditions and follow safety rules.
