Job summary

Heartland Business Systems, LLC. is seeking a developing technical professional to install and implement video surveillance, access control, structured cabling, paging, and related physical security solutions.

You will work with the Foreman, Project Manager, and team to deliver high-quality installations and positive customer experiences. The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, an Associate degree or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience with Access Control, Surveillance, and/or Low Voltage Cabling systems.
• Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools; safety and quality focused.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support video surveillance, access control, and related cabling systems.
• Work with supervision at first, then increasing independence on field tasks.
• Read drawings, specs, and installation requirements to complete tasks accurately.
• Troubleshoot field installation and system issues; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation of work, time, and materials; ensure safety and quality.
