Job summary

Associated Services Inspections, Ltd. is seeking a Loss Control Field Inspector to perform on-site evaluations of commercial, residential, and agricultural properties.

You will review requirements, contact clients to schedule appointments, and document findings with high-quality reporting. The role requires 3–5 years of loss control experience, knowledge of commercial property and liability, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel within a 50‑mile radius.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial loss control inspection experience.
• Knowledge of commercial property, general liability, and workers’ compensation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel within a 50‑mile radius.
• Experience with online reporting systems and document uploads.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments electronically and review inspection requirements.
• Contact the insured via phone, email, or text to schedule appointments.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of commercial, residential, or agricultural properties, assessing: Building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing); Fire protection and life safety; Maintenance and housekeeping; General liability exposures; Property conditions and risk factors.
• Capture typically 20–35 interior and exterior photos per structure.
• Take measurements using a measuring wheel, laser, or satellite measurements.
• Interview the insured regarding operations, building system ages, and risk-related details.
• Update inspection status through ASI’s online platform.
• Complete reports using Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch, including checklists, narratives, and digital photos.
