Job summary

Fairweather, based in Alaska, seeks an Operations Support Technician to manage warehouse inventory, fulfill orders, and transport goods across the state. The role supports cross-functional teams to sustain efficient operations and on-time delivery in remote environments.

Responsibilities include receiving and organizing materials, coordinating reorders, shipping documentation, and light mechanical troubleshooting. A candidate with CDL, forklift experience, and MS Office proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or maintenance support.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with inventory tracking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Receive, label, and store incoming materials and components; monitor stock levels; coordinate reorders; maintain organization.
• Expediting & Logistics: Prepare and package outgoing shipments; manage shipping documentation; load/unload vehicles; transport fleet assets as needed.
• Mechanical & Warehouse Support: Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs; support safety and regulatory compliance; assist operations teams with problem solving.
