Job summary

LineQuest, LLC is seeking an experienced Locate Technician to perform damage prevention services in the field, coordinating with the production manager for HydroVac jobs. You will work independently with a company vehicle and our ticket/claims system to ensure job success.

The role requires 1–2 years of line locating experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in extreme outdoor weather. PPE is provided; ongoing training is offered for new devices and changing regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of line locating experience.
• Strong verbal and listening skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies.
• Ensure that all devices are properly working daily.
• Follow driving directions from Texas 811 One-Calls.
• Walk 3–5 miles a day if needed.
• Adapt to adverse situations.
• Learn new devices and changing laws.
• Keep supervisor informed of field issues.
