ECS Group of Companies in Alabama is seeking a Certified Liner Inspector to support field inspection and quality assurance for geomembrane liner installations across the state. The role requires travel to job sites and ensuring installations meet design specs, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of liner inspection experience.
• Able to obtain/maintain basic certifications; advanced may be required.
• Must lift at least 85 pounds.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of ASTM testing standards and materials testing.

Responsabilités

• Manage a team of liner inspectors and serve as primary contact for liner inspections.
• Perform visual and instrument-based inspections of geomembrane liner installations.
• Monitor deployment, seaming, testing, and anchoring processes.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements.
• Use nondestructive testing (NDT) techniques to inspect seam quality (air pressure tests, vacuum box tests).
• Maintain daily logs, photographs, inspection forms and quality control records.
• Coordinate with construction crews, project managers, and contractors to ensure successful liner installation.
• Report deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards at job sites.
