Job summary

TransCore (TCI), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a Technician I to join our South Florida team. This position performs field servicing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of lighting systems and related roadway infrastructure, primarily along the I-595 corridor.

The role requires inspecting and maintaining lighting equipment, documenting activities, and working off-hours as needed. Must be comfortable heights and operating bucket trucks.

Qualifications

• Understanding of practical electronic theory and basic circuitry.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with field troubleshooting of lighting and electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of roadway lighting systems.
• Maintain street, structure, high mast, and navigational lighting equipment.
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory usage; complete inspections.
