Job summary

TransCore ITS, LLC seeks a Technician I to join our South Florida team. This role performs field servicing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of lighting systems and related roadway infrastructure along the I-595 corridor.

The position involves preventive maintenance, inspections, and documenting activities, with the usual night shift and possible overtime. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing lighting assets, operating bucket trucks, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical electronics coursework valued.
• Working knowledge of electronic theory, schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams; read instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of roadway lighting systems.
• Maintain street, structure, high mast, and navigational lighting equipment.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately and timely.
