Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation seeks an entry‑level Lease Operator trainee to monitor wells and sites, report operation status, and assist in safe, efficient production. You will work under supervision, with a focus on routine site checks and data recording.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining production equipment, inspecting sites, and collaborating with the foreman to resolve issues. On‑call rotations and adherence to safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Valid driver license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident.
• Ability to wear and properly utilize PPE when required.

Responsibilities

• Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule.
• Monitor production equipment (compressors, pumpjacks, meters, etc.) and perform light maintenance as needed.
• Inspect lease sites for cleanliness and debris.
• Manage daily fluid production and record tank levels.
• Gather daily, monthly and quarterly data and submit reports timely.
• Communicate plans and issues with the foreman; participate in well reviews and safety meetings.
• Support safe, cost‑effective production optimization and on‑call rotations.
