FIDO Tech is seeking a Leak Detection Technician to perform safe, accurate field investigations of water leaks within distribution networks. You will validate findings, mark leaks for repair, and train customers and partners on proper field techniques and data expectations.

Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, you will travel across North America and internationally as required, using acoustic sensors and related equipment to deliver high-quality field outcomes aligned with project plans

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based leakage detection or related water network investigation work.
• Understanding of water distribution networks, leakage behaviour and validation requirements.
• Experience with acoustic listening devices, correlators or similar equipment is desirable.
• Experience in safe working in operational/safety-critical environments.

Responsabilités

• Deploy acoustic sensors on water networks per deployment plans.
• Investigate leaks, validate findings and mark leaks for repair.
• Deliver field operations per plans and safety standards.
• Provide updates to Operations, Delivery and Technical teams.
• Train customers and partners on field techniques and data usage.
• Ensure field processes, data expectations and value messaging are followed.
• Travel within North America and internationally as required.
