Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Environmental Scientist based in Texas to lead crucial environmental projects across the Gulf region. This role involves permitting strategy, environmental assessment, and application preparation to ensure compliance across various industries.

Candidates should possess a strong background in environmental science with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, as well as a good understanding of NEPA and other environmental regulations. The position involves significant fieldwork and travel (up to 75%).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience leading delineations, preferably in the Gulf Region.
• Solid knowledge of environmental compliance for public/private infrastructure projects.
• Thorough understanding of technical environmental impact analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Support projects related to natural gas pipelines and LNG facilities.
• Lead teams for wetland delineations and habitat characterizations.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance and safety plans.
