Job summary
The McPherson Companies is seeking a Lead Technician – Reliability Services to support our lubrication and reliability services offerings from Reserve, Louisiana. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
- 5+ years in industrial maintenance or lubrication.
- Ability to lead a small field crew.
- Mechanical/industrial background preferred.
- Experience in industrial environments (manufacturing, refining, etc.).
- Basic mechanical aptitude; able to work with pumps and valves.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime/in overnight assignments.
Responsibilities
- Lead 2–3 person field crews on reliability projects.
- Perform oil filtration and dehydration services.
- Coordinate daily work with Project Manager and customer.
- Troubleshoot pumps, hoses, valves, and filtration equipment.
- Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and tool readiness.
- Oversee equipment setup/breakdown and inventory.
- Execute high-velocity oil flushing and varnish removal.
- Conduct in-plant lubrication services and oil changes.
- Complete service documentation and field reports.
- Represent the company professionally at sites.
