Job summary

Keller Associates, Inc. is seeking a Lead Inspector to oversee field activities on construction projects in Idaho Falls or Pocatello. You will act as the Engineer's representative on site, observe progress, and verify conformance with plans and contract documents.

The role requires IQP certifications, field experience, and strong documentation skills. This position offers remote-friendly options and a path for growth within a mid-sized civil engineering firm serving the West.

Qualifications

• IQP certifications are required.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with ISPWC and Ada County Highway District supplement to ISPWC.
• Experience with accurate record-keeping.
• Proficient in MS Office and Bluebeam; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, and document the work in progress by the contractor.
• Act as a liaison between the Engineer, Owner, and the Contractor to facilitate communication.
• Prepare daily reports to document work progress, site conditions, and decisions made.
• Participate in and prepare notes for project meetings.
• Maintain records for use in preparing project documentation.
• Review applications for payment with the Contractor and forward with recommendations to the Engineer.
• Participate in Engineer’s visits to the site to assess work progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
