Job summary

A leading concrete construction firm in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Field Lead. This role involves developing project plans, identifying obstacles, and ensuring optimal execution for concrete projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in project execution with self-performance experience in concrete and a preferred degree in Construction Management or Engineering. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are necessary for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project plan for their phase of work.
• Identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepare team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensure team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
• Ensure project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicate project status to appropriate parties.
