A leading concrete construction firm in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Field Lead. This role involves developing project plans, identifying obstacles, and ensuring optimal execution for concrete projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in project execution with self-performance experience in concrete and a preferred degree in Construction Management or Engineering. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are necessary for success in this role.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
Responsibilities
Develop a project plan for their phase of work.
Identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
Prepare team to execute using defined planning processes.
Ensure team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
Ensure project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
Communicate project status to appropriate parties.
