Job summary

Exterity is seeking an experienced Landscape Market Manager to shape the quality of commercial landscapes across your market. You’ll visit client properties, evaluate landscape conditions and service quality, and collaborate with our service partners to uphold the standards clients expect.

This field-focused role requires 5+ years in commercial landscaping, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple properties or contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial landscaping or related field.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and quality standards.
• Ability to evaluate turf, plant health, irrigation performance, pruning quality, seasonal color, and overall property presentation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented.
• Experience managing service across multiple properties or with subcontractors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own service quality in your market and visit client properties regularly.
• Ensure work is completed according to scope and Exterity standards.
• Identify deficiencies, risks, and opportunities to improve property appearance and performance.
• Communicate corrective actions clearly and follow through to ensure issues are resolved.
• Document property conditions, service performance, and next steps.
• Build productive relationships with service partners and provide coaching to improve consistency.
• Help identify and qualify replacement partners when issues occur.
• Partner with internal teams to support onboarding and transitions.
• Build client confidence through responsiveness, professionalism, and landscape expertise.
• Drive client retention by delivering consistent service and property quality.
• Identify enhancement opportunities and changing property needs.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on recommendations to improve property performance.
