Job description

Responsibilities

• Position, connect, and align precast concrete elements according to construction drawings.
• Place grout in keyways, column bases, and beam caps as specified in construction drawings.
• Help secure and maintain a safe construction site by setting up fall protection guardrails and routinely inspecting for safety hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping to maintain order and safety on the jobsite.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; inform foreman of repairs and restocking needs.
• Excavate using shovels as directed; operate heavy-duty hammer drills and saws to modify concrete elements.
• Use OSHA-compliant hand signals for crane operations.

Additional Responsibilities

• Welding, including overhead welding.
• Move vehicles as instructed.
• Operate forklifts and other small equipment as required.
• Participate in site safety audits using company-provided tablets when requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of jobsite experience, preferably with precast concrete products.

Environmental & Working Conditions
