Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Field Quality Control Technician to perform concrete, soils, and asphalt testing at construction sites in Utah and surrounding areas. You will collect samples, operate testing equipment, and relay results to project managers.

Requirements include a high school diploma, willingness to travel, ability to lift 50 lbs, and certification in ACI/ASTM/OSHA, with preferred related coursework or associates degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel to reporting office and surrounding areas.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications (ACI/ASTM/OSHA).
• Preferred related coursework or an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform field quality control tests of concrete, soils, and asphalt.
• Perform field density testing on soil, asphalt, and other materials.
• Manage and conduct lab testing of CMT materials.
• Enter daily field observation and summary reports electronically.
• Relate information to project managers and engineers with limited in-field decision making.
