Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform sampling and testing of soils, concrete, and related materials on construction projects across Southeast Louisiana.

The role involves 80–90% fieldwork with manual handling up to 50 lbs, weekend/overtime availability, and the possibility of out-of-town assignments. NICET/ACI certifications and US work authorization are preferred; local candidates only.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• NICET and ACI certifications preferred.
• Radiation Safety - Nuclear Density Gauge training a plus.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs and work weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling/testing and observation/inspection of soils, concrete, and other materials on construction projects.
• Primarily field-based work (80–90%); travel within Southeast Louisiana as needed.
