We seek a Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform sampling, testing and observation of soils, concrete and other materials on construction projects nationwide and internationally. Expect 80–90% field work and extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Field testing of soils, concrete and other materials.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; weekends/overtime as required.
• Local candidates preferred; no relocation.

Responsabilités

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING TECHNICIAN

Full time position performing sampling/testing and observation/inspection of soils, concrete, and other materials on construction projects throughout the United States and international service areas. Typical duties require 80 to 90 percent of time be spent performing tasks at field locations. This position will require extensive travel from various projects throughout the United States and other international sites.

Qualifications

Earthwork and concrete construction and CMT laboratory soil, aggregate and concrete testing preferred but not required. NICET Certification, ACI Certification and Radiation Safety - Nuclear Density Gauge training a plus. Requirements include: Able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs; a safe driving record; willing to work weekends and overtime as required; willing to work on out of town assignments as required; authorization to work in the United States; and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Also, must have a good attitude, attention to detail, and able to get along well with others. Local candidates preferred; no relocation.
