Job summary

Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. is seeking Certified Construction Materials Testing Technicians for our Sulphur, LA office. The role involves quality control inspection and testing of soils, aggregate and concrete in the field and laboratory.

Responsibilities include sampling, field testing, observing concrete tests, and supporting staff per project specs. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of experience, and a valid driver's license; preferred NICET/ACI

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 2+ years in materials testing or related field.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to lift 10-60 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Assist sampling or testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and other materials.
• Perform soils testing in the field and concrete testing in the field.
• Monitor construction activities per project specs and assist the lab team.
• Adhere to quality policies and TWE safety procedures.
