Job summary

Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. is seeking an entry to senior level Construction Materials Testing Technician for our Beaumont, Texas facility. The role includes testing soils, concrete, and pile monitoring, with on-site duties and detailed reporting.

Preferred candidates hold ACI, NICET, or TXDOT certifications; training is provided for all qualified applicants. Must be able to pass drug screen and background checks, and have dependable transportation to job sites throughout the area.

Qualifications

• Certifications in ACI, NICET or TXDOT are preferred
• Entry to senior level candidates considered
• Training provided for all applicants
• Ability to operate testing equipment and document results

Responsibilities

• Produce timely and detailed reports
• Operate vehicle safely and follow safety procedures at all times
• Follow all company procedures and protocols
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Build positive relationships with clients
• Arrive at the job site on time
• Communicate with dispatch daily
• Communicate with onsite clients and relay information to management
