Job summary

Advance Testing, A SOCOTEC Company, is seeking a full-time Construction Materials Technician to work on construction projects in the Northeastern United States. Responsibilities include testing and inspection of materials such as soils, concrete, and asphalt.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably an AS degree in a relevant field. Competitive salaries starting at $18-22 per hour and comprehensive benefits including medical insurance, paid training, and retirement plans are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AS degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or similar preferred.
• Experience with construction materials testing is preferred but will be trained.

Responsibilities

• Observe work to ensure procedures conform to specifications.
• Perform standard testing of materials.
• Prepare samples for laboratory testing.
• Maintain daily logs of construction activities.
