Job summary

Cosmo Cabinets, a family-owned American manufacturer, seeks a field-based cabinet installation project manager to own projects end to end across the Southeast. You will run multiple jobsites, perform field measurements, review shop drawings, coordinate trades, and manage subcontractors.

You’ll travel extensively in the Southeast by car, read architectural drawings, communicate professionally with customers and vendors, and handle RFIs and change orders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in kitchen cabinets, millwork, or a similar construction trade
• Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills — jobsites don't run themselves
• Demonstrated leadership; you can hold subs and schedules accountable
• Self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be told
• Ability to travel extensively in the Southeast US by car (valid driver's license required)

Responsibilities

• Run projects end to end—from inception through delivery and installation.
• Field measure: verify site dimensions before anything ships.
• QC drawings: review and quality-check all submittals and shop drawings.
• Coordinate trades: work directly with general contractors, superintendents, and other trades onsite.
• Manage subcontractors: scopes, schedules, performance, and change authorizations.
• Keep material moving: schedule and track deliveries from our Eatonton plant.
• Handle the paperwork that matters: write RFIs and change orders, and process customer billings.
• Communicate like a pro: keep customers, the plant, vendors, and subs informed.
