Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This field role goes beyond helpdesk, including OS installs, hardware checks, and cabling across various sites.

You will work independently in diverse environments, be on-call for service requests, and contribute to customer satisfaction. This is a paid hourly on-site contractor position with travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience is preferred.
• One of the following certifications, or 5+ years of field IT/Telecom experience, is required or advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
