Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled, driven technicians to support our national client base in hands-on IT and telecom tasks. From OS installations to structured cabling, you’ll work across diverse sites and stay on-call to respond to service requests within your territory.

This role offers on-site, travel-required work, with paid hourly compensation and travel pay. Ideal candidates have IT/Telecom experience or 5+ years field experience and certifications like A+ or Network+.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT or Telecom experience is required; or 5+ years verifiable field experience in IT/Telecom.
• PC and printer troubleshoooting experience is a strong plus.
• Candidates may have A+ or Network+ certifications, or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.
