Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, including OS installations, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse sites. You will work in various environments, be on-call, and travel within your territory.

A hands-on approach and professional client interaction are essential. We offer paid hourly on-site pay, a 1099 contractor status, travel pay, app-based time tracking, and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• 1 year IT or Telecom experience
• A+ or Network+ Certification
• 5+ years field experience if no certs

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions)
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
