Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes beyond helpdesk, including OS installations, hardware diagnostics, software setup, and extensive structured cabling on site.

You will work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments, on-call for service requests within your territory. Paid hourly on site as a 1099 contractor with travel pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT/Telecom field is required.
• Ability to work independently in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.
