Job summary

Pacific Office Automation is seeking a Tier 2 Managed IT Services Field Technician in Beaverton, OR. This field-based role combines technical problem-solving with direct customer engagement, serving as the face of the company at customer sites.

You may join with 0–3+ years of experience, and we offer growth through training and certifications, plus a path from entry-level support to senior leadership roles within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or related field.
• Experience in field IT support or desktop support preferred.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (VPN, TCP/IP) and VOIP.

Responsibilities

• Respond to onsite service requests for desktops, laptops, printers, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot IT issues across Windows, macOS, and multi-site networking environments.
• Support customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems to gather information and provide status updates.
• Work closely with MITS Service Desk, field leadership, and customers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and outcomes in ConnectWise with clarity.
• Meet SLAs by responding promptly and resolving issues on first visit when possible.
• Perform onsite equipment handling and installation (up to 50 lbs).
• Travel throughout Beaverton, OR area to customer sites.
