Intrado Life & Safety, Inc. in Virginia seeks a PSAP (911) Field Technical Customer Support (Level 3) to install and maintain our life & safety systems. The role requires extensive travel across Virginia, including Loudoun County, to install software/hardware and provide on-site training.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting product issues, remote support, and contributing to MOPs and new product training, while ensuring high-quality customer service and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of technical customer service and installation or software training experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience with networking, Windows based servers and workstations.
• Min two years of experience with Oracle and SQL preferred.
• Certifications (e.g. CCNA/CCNP/MCSE) preferred.
• Telephony knowledge preferred; basic Word and Excel required.
• On-call and night shift work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in installation of 911 call handling and dispatch systems.
• Travel to customer sites across Virginia; install software and troubleshoot product issues.
• Provide on-site training for all assigned products; troubleshoot integrations.
• Provide remote support to customers and service technicians as needed.
• Develop and follow Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and assist in product training.
