Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a hands-on Isolation Valve Technician to inspect, repair, test, and maintain industrial valves and actuators in shop and field settings across oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, and related industries. The role requires mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read technical drawings and service manuals.

The ideal candidate can travel to customer sites, perform leak/pressure testing, and document findings clearly.

Qualifications

Two years hands-on industrial valve, actuator, millwright, or related mechanical maintenance experience.
Direct experience repairing, maintaining, or testing industrial isolation valves.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Ability to read technical drawings, equipment specifications, and repair instructions.
Ability to work both in a repair shop and at customer facilities.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble, and test industrial isolation valves.
Service ball, gate, globe, and butterfly valves and related equipment.
Troubleshoot valve failures, mechanical problems, leakage, and performance concerns.
Inspect, repair, and test electric and mechanical valve actuators.
Prepare parts lists and coordinate repair requirements with internal teams.
