The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Orlando Field Office, is seeking an investigator to conduct on-site youth employment investigations and enforce Florida child labor statutes. The role encompasses regulatory and compliance duties, including site inspections, evidence analysis, and educational outreach, with occasional travel.

Strong report writing and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Competenze

• Two or more years of regulatory-related experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours with regional travel and occasional overnight travel.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Knowledge of investigative techniques and ability to conduct field investigations.
• Proficiency in Windows-based computer software programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to write detailed reports and interpret laws, statutes, and regulations.
