This is a mobile, field-based role requiring regular, face-to-face contact in homes, schools, and community settings.

The position emphasizes rapid decision-making, thorough documentation, and collaboration with schools, law enforcement, and courts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher OR combinations per criteria.
• Ability to travel up to 60% and work in mobile field settings.
• Valid Texas driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Strong interviewing, documentation and court coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Determines causes/factors of abuse to assess risk to children.
• Collaborates with families to reduce immediate threats to safety.
• Enters data into agency systems within required time frames.
• Maintains effective relationships with families, CPS staff and partners.
• Attends trainings/meetings and performs other duties as assigned.
• Promotes cultural diversity and attends work regularly.
